FOUNDER & ATTORNEY

Phil was born in Orlando, Florida, grew up in the mountains of North Carolina, and studied law in Virginia at William and Mary Law School, before he settled in Memphis in 2015 as an assistant public defender for Shelby County. In August of 2023, Phil opened the doors of Phil Harvey Law, pursuing his dream of being a law firm owner.

Phil lives in the Vollentine-Evergeen neighborhood with his wife, Jessie, and their three elementary-age children, Ellen, Dietrich, and David. He enjoys Premier League soccer, reverse-seared steaks, and DIY home repairs that entail no more than two trips to Home Depot.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Alexis Givan is the Executive Assistant at PHL. A few of her responsibilities at the firm include answering and screening calls, updating current clients on their cases, managing day-to-day office operations, providing excellent customer service, and working independently and alongside Mr. Harvey on case work. In short, she is the first point of contact with any potential clients who reach out to us!

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and working out. Alexis has lived in the Mid-South her whole life and deeply enjoys helping those in need. Her greatest compliment is knowing when she has truly impacted someone’s life, perspective, or day in a positive way, and it simply starts by making each person feel that they are heard and understood.

MARKETING ASSISTANT

Shari collaborates closely with Alexis, the firm’s Executive Assistant, to ensure clients have a positive experience from start to finish. She also assists with marketing and advertising.

After growing up in the Philippines, Shari embarked on a new adventure by relocating to Europe to build a life with her husband. She counts this as an amazing opportunity and learning experience to explore a new culture and learn a new language!

Outside of work, quality time with loved ones is her priority. Whether exploring new places with her husband, catching up with family and friends, or simply curling up with a good book, she cherishes these moments.
